Atmospheric water vapor monitoring

GNSS, SAR and NWP models to enhance the predictions of heavy rains in sub-Saharan AFRICA

The seminar aims at giving an overview of the characteristics of the GNSS and SAR water

vapor products made available to the research community for further studies, through the TWIGA platform.

NWP Data assimilation techniques will be reviewed and examples on how to assimilate water vapor products in the WRF NWP model will be made.
